Privacy Policy

1. Introduction: CSV to Map is designed to process your data locally. We do not collect, store, or “phone home” with any of the information contained in your CSV files or your physical location.

2. Location Data: To display your current position on the map, the app requests access to your device’s GPS location.

Real-Time Use Only: Your location is used solely to center the map and provide visual context while the app is active.

No Storage: We do not record or store your location history.

No Transmission to Developer: Your coordinates are never sent to our servers.

3. Third-Party Services (Google Maps API): Our app utilizes the Google Maps SDK to provide mapping interface features. While CSV to Map does not collect your data, Google may collect certain information as part of providing the map service, including:

Device Identifiers: To ensure API security and prevent quota abuse.

Usage Telemetry: General data about map interactions.

IP Address: Necessary for downloading map tiles.

4. Data in Your CSV Files: All processing of CSV files happens on-device.

We do not upload your CSV data to any server.

We do not have access to the addresses, names, or coordinates inside your files.

5. No Analytics or Crash Reporting: We do not use third-party tracking tools (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Sentry). Your app usage remains private to you.
